ok i am swapping a b16 into my crx i got to wireing the dizzy and i noticed that my stock dizzy plug only had 5 wires in it and the b16s dizzy has 7 wires in it what are the 2 extra and how do i kno how to pin in the plug

 

Were you running MPFI before the swap?

 

post more specifics, it sounds like your installing an obd1 b16a and dizzy, but confirm my assumptions. If this is the case, there are plenty of obd1 dizzy ---> obd0 harness conversion threads on the site, just do a search. You will need to buy the maiting grey connector plugs, and do a rewire.

 

yea i was running a mpfi but it was a mpfi swap if that changes anything and the b16a is cable tranny it should b obdo i think becouse its the jdm sir1 motor

 

Do you know if the b16a dizzy is obd1?

Is all 7 wires on one clip on clip. Or 5 on one clip and two on another?

 

i think i figured it out the dizzy has a total of 9 wires but the 2 wires i was mixed up with are the cyl pos sensor or crank angle sensor and all i have to do is hook them up 2 wires that i already had ran from the mpfi swap so i just have to depin and repin and then re run those wires to the ecu I GOT THIS you can delete this thead now
