revving limitations

Default revving limitations

im going to start a project and im stuck oon the engine. i want to bulid a high revving kseries, preferiable a k24 , cause there is no replacement for displacement. but ive read on k20a.org tat k24 cannot be revved tat high but k20 can. can u help me understand im confused.

No offense but if you dont understand the answer to that question you shouldnt be building a motor.

Because the k24 crank is larger, it has a 99mm stroke compared to the k20's 86mm. And why do you want to revv high, theres no point to revving high unless you are making power up there.
