quick question. in order to wire up my electric VSS I need to tap and split into the signal wire going to the ECU. I was told that the wire is present at the CRX cluster plug. I need to confirm if its pin D5 on the smaller CRX cluster plug. Its marked unused on all the CRX diagrams and the color is yellow with a red stripe.

signal is yel w/ red stripe. it is located on connector c710 pin #7.

Are you refering to the larger 12 pin connector? if so thats for oil pressure

the small connecter has a yellow and red too marked unused its D5
