What kind of socket do I need for B20B4 Flexplate bolts?? Please help
I'm doing a b20b swap in my 88 88 crx si and i'm using an integra s1 cable tranny. I am in the process of installing a new clutch and flywheel but I ran into a problem, I guess since the b20b was an automatic, what i think is the flexplate, a thin disc full of golf ball sized holes, is bolted with about 8 bolts to where the flywheel would go. I was going to take it off to put on the flywheel but I noticed that the bolts were kind of star shaped, does any body know what size and type of socket you need to remove those bolts? Also my second question is since i am using an integra clutch and tranny, I would need integra pressure plate bolts right? PLEASE HELP.
you sure they aren't the same as a manual flywheel? Those are 12pt .. you just need a set of 12pt sockets...
also, flex plate bolts have an "AT" stamp on them and are for auto trans only. they are shorter than manual bolts.

Yes, be sure to get the corrent flywheel bolts, don't use the shorter flexplate bolts to hold the flywheel on, if you have a hard time finding some, PM me and I'll ship you a set for the cost of postage.
