Possible to adjust fuel pressure with a stock fuel pressure regulator?
Do you want to just lower the pressure? You can drill a hole in your stock FPR. I did it to mine after I got a Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump before I bought my AEM. I still have it if you want it. I'll give it to you for free since I don't need it. Just pay me $5 for shipping. It's from a '99 B16A, btw.

Well you're out of state you can mod the crap out of your car as long as you follow your state's laws. That does suck though. What's the ultimate goal here for the FPR, maybe we can find a different solution

Thanks for trying to help me out here i appreciate it. The goal is to lower my fuel pressure so i am not running as rich. I am going to be getting tuned but i want to do it with a stock fpr or visually pass smog with the setup and emissions wise. So a hidden aem fpr would do the job, i just dont know where to start

Lowering is easy. Just drill a tiny tiny hole like 1/16" through the diaphram of your stock FPR. If that doesnt lower it enough drill another one.
Since you have to keep the stock FPR for the visual you can't replace it with an adjustable one. And adding a 2nd FPR to the system wont allow you to adjust it any lower than the pressure set by the stock FPR - Unless you drill a big *** hole through it.

if you are trying to raise the fuel pressure, put it in a vice, with a socket over the nipple and start to squash it. we used to do this on the buicks till adjustables became available. by squashing it, basically you are tightening the spring.

but you cant lower the fuel pressure by using hondata right?

You cant lower fuel pressure but you can change the pulse width of the injectors to change air/fuel.. I always wanted to mess with something like an electronic fuel pressure regulator that the ecu could control..

I did that a long time ago to lower fuel pressure. One side affect is you have to crank your engine alot longer to build up fuel pressure. Its a pain in the *** sometimes the car wont start unless you crank it for awhile.Youll be happier with an adjustable FPR.

I could see this since fuel system wont hold pressure when there is a hole in the fpr.. Could be fixed by putting the fuel pump on a toggle switch so that it runs steady before you start cranking the car..
