help oem stanley fog light install problem!!!!

Default help oem stanley fog light install problem!!!!

ok i got a set of oem stanley fog lights for my eg and i spent all day playing with them. finally i found where all the clips plug in under the dash and wired everything up grounded the lights and everything and now there is no light. they wont turn on, does anyone have any help for me.

How'd you hook them up? Sometimes they wont come on unless parking or headlights are on.

nah they wont turn on even with the head lights or parkin lights on. they came with a dash harness with 2 bypass plugs. a more dificult install than i figured.

Did you run the wire from the inside harness to the exterior harness? Check the fuse. Make sure the two plugs that go in the fusebox are the the right locations, 2 and 5.

The USDM harness is different from my JDM harness. Did you plug in the plug that goes to your light switch as well as your dimmer switch? You have to ground the interior harness as well as the relay.

yeah i know i plugged in the harness to the light switch on the column and the dimmer switch grounded the relay under the dash and grounded the exterior harness to the chasis

is there a socket in the fuse box for the lights? cuz the harness had a seperate fuse socket already.

Yes, there is a separate fuse on the harness for the fogs. Make sure you ground the interior harness.

There should be. That's the reason why it's not working. You need to have the harness grounded.

My JDM harness has both a ground and relay that I grounded to the same bolt under the dash.

yeah i grounded to that bracket where that metal plate was. this install sucked compared to the cheap depo knock offs on my old coupe.

Towards the front? I grounded the ground and the relay to the same bolt. So they are close together?
