B20 with a GSR head..... help
Im not sure if anyone remembers my posts from a while ago but i was planning on building up an all motor ls non vtech. I took some time to think and some friends convinced me that if i want big power im gonna need to run vtech and a bigger block. I was wondering what you guys think this type of setup would put out with no other modifications. Oh yeah.... is there any difference beteen the blocks in the B20B and the B20Z? How much power do you think this setup could put out with the following mods...
- Ported and polished head
- Intake manifold
- ITR throttle body or maybe even bigger
- Crower stage 3 cams
- High compressions pistons... not sure if i should do flat or domed
- valves, dual springs, andf retainers
- rods, rings.... and whatever else it might need
I plan to put all of this into a EF civic hatch or a CRX. I was also wondering if aanyone knows anything about certain emission laws about having truck motors in cars. Well thats all i got to say.... hopefully i can get some feedback soon cause im going to be picking up an engine stand next week and hopefully B20 shrtly after.
