Default K20A3 ideas

yo i recently bought the new 05 reverb civic in white and i thought it looked pretty sexy like overall the car looks great but only problem was that it lacked power. SO i thought about the possible swaps for this car well easier ones woudl prolly be the k20a motors since their newer. But since the type-s motor cost a lot i thought about doing the civic si motor, the K20A3. 160 hp would be a pretty good swap on my reverb civic, and it owuld prolly be a lot cheaper too. So i was just wondering your peoples expertise thoughts on my idea of the k20a3 motor swaped in to a 05 reverb civic?

i personally think it would like be doing a b16a swap on a ek or eg so i'm guessing its not a bad idea for me. i believe it would be just like a normal swap and the engine would prolly cost 2-3k and overall the swap i'm guessing would cost me around 5k max

If you can spend 5k, why mess with A3, go for the A2. You'd be alot happier. At this time A3 isn't something you want to consider unless you want to spend another $3500 boosting it. It doesn't have much aftermarket support like the B16 or the A2...

i agree with him. the A3 has great potential but the A3 will not even compare to the A2... u'll be much happier with an A2...

but to be honest i think comparibly the b16's alot more fun to bang on than the k20a3... just in my opinion, the VTEC's much more fun the hear!! hahaha
