Brake shims and brake chirping, related?
I recently put new AEM pads on all four corners, along with new Autozone rotors in the rear, some ******* torqued the screws to death on the front rotors so as of now new pads push on used rotors in the front, not great but better than before. I later noticed that I failed to replace all the shims on the brakes on the car, and something chirps while I drive, is this related? At the time, the shims looked pretty much worthless.
Also, when I turn I hear smacking, I believe it is the SS lines I installed but since I have coilovers I have no middle mount to secure them, what is the best way to route them and secure them (pics please).
EDIT: This is all on a '94 del Sol Si.

It could be, when I put in brake pads I paint the back of the pads, what that does is give it a coating so its not metal on metal and quiets it down quit a bit.
