Default Oil coming from the breether on valve cover (turbo)

He's my problems guys, I have a GSR with about 145k miles. Turbo pushing about 10.5 PSI. Didn't get around to getting a FMU but I have a turbosmart boost controller that wasn't regulating the boost at all. It was just like at 10.5 the waste gate was throwing it out. So yesturday I was driving it I got on it on the highway and got up to about 10, felt it running lean so I backed off, put it back up to about 7pounds and when I did it sounded like a gasket blew. No powwwwwwwww sound just a puffffffff of air I head kind of. I lookied under the hood and I have this oil that came from my breather on the strut bar and injectors. Whe I rev the car up sitting still alittle smoke comes from the breather along with oil. (not alot of oil just a bit)
My neighbor said it sounds like a valve spring gave out. When I take off I get no boost. The vaccum changes from vac to boost but boost still reads 0. So feed it to me straight guys, what did I blow?

did you have any check valves in line with the map sensor or a missing link?

i dont see how the car even ran at all if you had no type of fuel upgrades no fmu, no afc, nothing at all to add more fuel per pound of boost. you thought you were running lean at 10psi? you were running lean at 1psi your car wont run right without any type of added fuel

to answer your question, it is most likely your ringlands, they are the things that your piston rings sit on.

haha, yah, these numbers have been on a steady incline!!

But really, no mods to fuel at all! What the hell are you thinking!! I'd say your engine is pretty much toast. As for the ringlands, do a search, tons of info on them.

To the OP. When you add more boost. More power. More Hp to your car. You need the juice to fuel that extra oomph. You need bigger injectors. You need a management to tell your ECU to **** more fuel. You really, REALLY, should have done some homework before just going with stock injectors and no management.

I hope your story is a joke.

Your motor is toast dude. Your pistons and rings are in the block.Think of it as a horse getting it legs chopped off.Dont believe The Fast and the Furious when he fried his rings and drove all over town.Doesnt work like that.

the ic pipe blowing off was causing no boost but there still should not be enough oil coming out of the breather to spill out of the filter. the rings are going.

Lol, stupid is no longer an adjective, but a noun. HT is teh win! Horay!

for no FMU or fuel upgrades.

I'm running uber, WB, 310cc (only going to be about 7psi) and a 255lph inline.

I have a question for you uber/crome guys. Stock fuel pressure is 24psi. With an inline the pressure will be higher. Do I need to get a fuel pressure guage to find out what psi it's at so I know what to put into my .bin file?

Damn...this is amazing I say........how in the world did it survived this long??

It's like Amazing...but really guys....lets not be too harsh....

Just last weekend, I meet some guy that just turbo charged his EG with a Greddy kit and I was checking it out right...so I asked him..so what kind of EMS are you using for the turbo.

The guy replied...none...everthing is stock SOHC..I was like doh!!!!! When ya tell someone something and they don't listen...what can you do right.

Soon...my other friend is gonna sell that guy another motor so its people like this that keeps other people in business.

You know, I thought of something like that yesterday. But instead it was aimed at ricers/JDMers.

If they wern't wasting their money on body parts to make their cars look cool they could be spending that money on go fast parts. The more they spend on looks, the less chance of them beating my car and the less chance of them killing an innocent person.
