Default B18B SMS Header

Picked it up last week and put it in yesterday

Engine will be kept stock, building it up for a track car, eventually start racing with it (honda challenge) end of this year or next year.

i bet it feels a lot nicer than what he had..then again i don't know what he had lol.

i remember when i did my 2.5 mod to my edelbrock header...sooo noticeable and a whole lot more fun to drive..still untuned too.

Yes the engine is stock. I may send the head out for port matching and valve job over the winter, but for Honda Challenge or SCCA racing you're pretty limited to what you can do. Next step is tuning though.

As far as tubing specs, I have no idea. Contact dave - https://honda-tech.com/zerouser...=4028 for more info on this stuff.

Pricing is $800 and up - depending on how you want it built. Mine is mild steel, uncoated and more than $800 for reference.

Thats what I want is the measurements of this piece. I am curious to see how something like that will perform! I want something similiar to that for my set up.

Dont get something similar, get the real deal

Dave puts a lot of time and research into the tubing diameters/lengths/design/fitment, I dont think he's just going to hand that out to anyone that asks for it on the interweb. Just my $.02 on that.

No I do not plan to. I do have formulas that some ppl use to make custom exhaust manifolds, but I am not a master weldier so I havent attempted to make one myself.

I was just curious, b/c unlike most ppl, I know that bigger primaries arent always better. I want a good header but I want one that will work specifically for my setup, not a one size fits all!

I havent seen too many other SMS headers, so i really dont know how the lenghs and primaries and such compare to the vtec/b20/etc versions.

I have seen the B-series and the h-series headers, but not one like yours. I want Dave to make me one b/c the quality of work is excellant and I havent heard of any problems like cracking, etc.
