Default b16b stroked

i wanna storke it by puttin a gsr crank with gsr rods that have ctr pistons on them already....
they motor is a 2000 ctr motor with about 20xxxmiles on it, motor is strong, but just has no torque. if i do this swap can i still rev to 9500? what kind of precautions should i do to the bottem end? any things i should be careful of?
i have all these parts ready to put in. so i'm not owrried about costs.
what type of machine work should be done?

GSR crank with CTR piston will net you a 12.6:1 CR so that may be an issue to take into consideration, besides that I don't think it's the bottom end that will struggle with dealing with 9500. Maybe get a set of ARP rodbolts as they do not cost too much. But 9.5k is a bit over the revlimit on the B16B so what valvtrain do you have in there? I would not rev the stock parts that high on a regular basis.

CTR valvetrain can handle prob similar to what a ITR can handle (8500-9000) but not RELIABLY.

Lindy, if you want to rev to 9500, put ARP rod bolts in the GSR rods and run ACL race Bearings. my old CRX ran to 9500rpms reliably wit just ARPs in the rods. Get Rocket Motorsports Valvetrain as well. Keep in mind your compression wll be really high, so get Uberdata to tune it

you know the number to call if you need help
