How's it goin?

I'm new here and new to honda's. I bought a dead standard JDM 99 ITR 2 months back

I ran a 14.9 @ 86mph on the 1/4 mile but I was wonderin what would be the best mod's to get me into the low 14's high 13's??

Welcome, Chris. Congrats on reviving the ITR back to life.

Near the top of this ITR forum, there is a FAQ thread. Read that. You will get answers to 90% of your questions. Using the "search" function will net you another 9%.

Also, have you ever been to an autocross or a road course? I guarantee you'll like it a lot better than the drag strip.

whats an autocross???? is that like a track day??

 

a JDM 99 ITR is already capable of about a 14.2-14.4 1/4 mile. I recommend you practice your drag skills some more, before modding

i'm not alone, i ran faster times than some of the DC2's a few DC5's and an S2000 at that event, a DC2 with a stroker kit and an awful lot more work done to it got a 14.1 and it was the fastest DC2 on the day out of at least 20

Awww, one more silver Type-Rx and you would have the entire ITR color spectrum in one picture....

 

They never made blue itr's... Unless I missed a year or so... PY, CW, FBP/NBP, VSM, MR I thought were the only colors they made...
