You can hear the car break up in 2nd gear...its not the limiter.

 

I'm guessin 6psi in the slicks worked out for ya hehe, anyways nice run!!

 

My ecu took a **** on me and my injector driver is bad. I'm still trying to guess what the miss at the top of 2nd was. When I get the ecu back from SDS, I'll have the fuel lines all done, the coilovers on, and I'll be ready for my 20psi tuned dyno appointment.

1/8 mile. Times are in sig. The video is sooo zoomed in its hard to perceive speed.

 

What were you launching at? Slipping or dumping the clutch? Looks like you had a good launch

 

definetley a 12 second car, looks good!

 

basically...waiting until the first light and revved it up next to the limiter and pulled my foot off the clutch as fast as possible and hammered the gas.

My 1/8 mile times for a neon are dead on for just under an 11.66 pass. <-- ran by a guy who had a 1.7 60' and a 7.6@95 in the 1/8

So definitely in the 11's...I just need to get it tuned after I get my ecu back.

 

1/8 mile races are funny to watch.Why do people race 1/8? Do they not have enough track?

 

it was some gay event at PIR. they only run 1/4 on weekends/friday
