what exactly are u talking about? You can install what u want to. The rear sway requires DC LCA's, or aftermarket with mounting holes. same with the fronts. the cx front LCAs dont have mounting points. If ur question is do you need to have both on, no u dont. you can run only a rear bar if u like. just turn up the damnpening in the front shocks

Some only install the rear because a stiffer rear swaybar makes for generally better handling on our fwd's. They come with fairly stiff front swaybars from the factory to increase understeer, which is safer than oversteer. So upgrading the front is mostly unnecessary, I think.

ok well with my current set up do u think its overkill to throw on the sway bars or should i not even put them on......

as far as the front goes it only has upper and lower tie bars and my custome apexi n1 pro coilovers front is 14k and rear is 16k........... on the rear iam running a upper and lower tie bar as well and a c-pillar bar and a trunk bar...... someone people tell me it would be over kill to throw on the sway bars but i mean i got them for free and iam thinking if i should or shouldnt throw them on. but i was just confused as if it would be safe to only run the back sways and not both. if it would mess with the entire feel of the car thru turns.... this car is a road race car if that helps as well

To me, modifying your suspesion should be done to YOUR liking. That is, some people perform betters that understeer a bit when push, and some people like cars that oversteer when pushed to its limit. It sounds like you have an extensive list of suspension mods, but for me to tell you that adding a rear sway bar will dramatically help you is like a doctor telling you to have surgery when all you need is a band-aid. The entire subject of suspension set-up is quite extensive, and little changes here and there can be better than adding more and more parts.

People add sway bars to the front and rear, but usually on FWD drives the front sway bar is not as thick as the rear. As you probably already know, this is to increase oversteer in the rear by stiffening the rear end. If I were you, I'd put it on and play around with the settings when you go to the track. You'll probably feel the changes the most when the car is pushed to its limits, and you'll get a clearer understanding as to whether or not you want them.

Here's a real shocker for you - some people don't have any sway bars.

Here's what you need to do -
1) Get thee to an autox or a track day. Only then can you safely evaluate the limits of your car's handling.

2) Evaluate the following -
a) What is the handling balance in a steady state sweeper?
b) What is the handling like at corner entry with neutral throttle?
c) What is the handling like at corner exit with neutral throttle?
d) What is the handling like at corner entry with lift throttle?
e) What is the handling like at corner exit under full throttle?

3) Once you have those answers post again and we can tell you what to do

I couldn't agree more. Too many people here base their setups off of what other people are comfortable with. However, that's all subjective; some drivers can handle oversteering setups while others would spin out frequently (like me ). I don't mean to imply we shouldn't ask for opinions but take those opinions as a starting point instead of a definitive answer.

With my DC2, for instance, I recently slapped on the H&R Cup Kit and spent some time testing it out over the weekend, playing with various damper settings. This is the only suspension mod ... well, besides the Kumhos the previous owner installed. If I asked on here, everyone would say to get an ITR RARB, right? Or get the Comptech or whatever. Anyway, I started with 1.5 from full stiff and 2.5 from full stiff in the front and rear, respectively. Little roll but there wasn't much feedback from the front; I had a hard time feeling when the front would "wash out." Lowered it to 2.5 from full stiff in the front, and I thoroughly enjoyed how the car handled. For my driving style and ability, it was very neutral with a hint of push. Had I bolted on a RARB like everyone suggests, I would probably have hated it because of how twitchy it would've seemed. I might upgrade the rear ARB when I'm more comfortable with the car, but I don't need it right now.

So yeah, just get a feeling for how it is now and then determine what else should be changed/added/etc. Since you road race your car, how does it feel at the track(s) you frequent? If it feels okay to YOU in that you're comfortable with it and feel you can drive it safely, you may not want to add the anti-roll bars you bought. Some people run them, some don't, some only in the front, some only in the rear, it's all personal preference, IMO.
