Default Just another one of those threads...

So, you read and read in the moto forum about people going down, and no-hurt falls, and fatal falls... some are your fault, some aren't...

Well, one of my best friends, Roberto is in westchester Hospital right now, in surgery for God knows what.

This is the only way to vent - I rode with him yesterday - you've all seen pictures of his bike. I lived with him and planned on him coming down my way in about 6 months to live with me again. That may have all just changed in 1 work day.

He is a brother to me. And now he is in surgery for making a mistake on 2 wheels.

Everyone please be careful.

Say a prayer or something... I hope to God he comes out in one peice.

Just another one of those threads...

I don't think anyone "loves to kick a guy when he's down." We're all quite sympathetic when a fellow rider goes down, regardless of whether or not he was at fault.

Negative reactions come when someone tries to justify doing something dangerous. In your case, it was riding a pretty bike without one dollar of insurance coverage. Don't be bitter about it, we were just pointing out the obvious.

Back on topic...Project, hope your boy gets better...watching a stranger or casual acquaintance crash is bad enough, but when it's your homie it's even worse.
