Default civic 1.5 turbo at 12psi. lag/hesitate on 5k rpm

im boosting my civic 1.5 block with a jdm 16 valve head with 3 angle valve job. turbo is a ford probe turbo (small *** one). dsm intercooler, dsm piping, dsm bov, with turbo chip ecu by a h-t member. car pulls great at 8 psi with no lag or detonation. im also using a sfc hack. stock injectors, stock fuel pump

when i adjust the boost to around 12 psi. the car pulls hard in 1st gear all the way to 7k, but in 2nd gear or 3rd gear at 12psi the car lags at 5k rpm

i didnt get it tuned yet, but i want to know why it does this. do i need to add more fuel or lean it out with the sfc.

thanks. hope i make sense.
tips and info would be great beside telling me to tuned which i know is the BEST way to do, but as right now cant yet.

Did you say stock injectors?????

Your leaning out and will go <FONT COLOR="red">"KABOOM"</FONT> soon if you don't get bigger injectors and a fuel pump that flows more lph or use a FMU with those stock injectors..

Dude your running what stock 240cc injectors?
Those are barely adequite for 7 psi of boost.
Upgrade to atleast some 310's/330's.

Your lucky it hasnt blown YET.
Even 8psi is too much for your stock injectors.
Dont be a cheap *** get some dsm 450's and get it tuned.

BTW what 1.5 is it ? B7 ?

240cc will handle 8psi w/management with no fuel loss. But from your description you shouldnt do 12psi on the stock pump, nor those injectors 3-4gear you are pulling more of a 1:1 than just in 1st gear, and sounds like your starving out and not lagging. Yes injectors, 255fuel pump, and wideband and a tune should have you pullin harder and safer.

You might not have to worry that turbo is good for a max of 230hp I believe the stock injectors can handle that or get a set of H22 injectors 260cc. Not sure at what boost that turbo maxes out at.But 10 psi might be maxed out on it.I think my ***** is bigger than that turbo.

A vj-11 would max out around say 16-18 psi on a 1.5.

I can Run my smaller vj-14 all the way up to 16 psi if i feel the need.
