engine questions
i'm trying to to ather some info to decice what to swap in my hatch (when i get the money) and i got some questions. how much heaver is the b20 from the b18 from the b16? also, i know the older ludes came with a 2.0 dohc. is that an h series or an old b?
and i know this is a nubie qusetion, but what engine is the zc? i always thought it was the sohc vtec, but thats a d16z6. i did a search, but couldn't find the info i was lookin for. may be that i didn't word it right. who knows.

The 2.0 litre in the prelude is a B20A (at least I think it is an A). The ZC is very similar to the 1st generation integra motor (D16A1). From what I understand that prelude B20 has a very weak bottom end. With the added cost of the mounts that particular B20 probably wouldn't be worth the cost. The ZC is probably the easiest and least expensive swap into a 4G civic. And it you are swapping into a DX or STD you should see a pretty solid difference with the ZC. As far as the weights I don't know. But I am sure someone will.
As far as the weights go all the B series are almost the same. The B18 and the B20 are dimensionally the same thing and the b16 is like 8mm shorter, small difference in weight between them is nothing you should worry about. Now the H series are a different story...
