Just want to know if the B20 (carbed) out a Lude will fit (with the B swap mounts) into an 87 CR-X?
Any info is appreciated.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I do not think so...The B20A is a different motor all-together. It is a POS anyway. You are better off with an LS motor.

The older B20's from the Prelude are the bastard stepchild B series motors compared to the CRV B20's. They have a very poor rod to stroke ratio and not much aftermarket support. If you are wanting to swap in a B series motor into your 1G CRX, definitely go with a newer B series.
b20 (from prelude) = crap
1g CRX + d16a1 = good
1g CRX + b18a1/b = good
1g CRX + DOHC VTEC (b16/17/18/20) = Great
1g CRX + DOHC VTEC + Turbo = unbelievable
I'm in the process of putting a d16a1 in it. If you were to go with a b-series I would say go with a Dohc Vtec due to the fact how much its going to cost to get the b-series in the motor in there already. Almost 1g in just parts.
http://www.redpepperracing.com is a good site for 1g.
