Default ej coils on ef?

just wanted to know if my coilover sleeves from my ej will fit my ef hatch...id also like to know if the shocks are interchangeable...not the whole strut assembly but the actual shock absorber.

the 93-95 coupe....i wanna say 92 as well but i think they only made hatches that year...dont quote me on it but yeah

92-95 Civic are EG's. Is it just 2drs are EJs?

Assuming they will fit...what's the weight difference of the 2 cars? Springs and shocks are created for specific cars for a reason; the manufacturer has to take weight into consideration. When you put springs/shocks on a car that's lighter than the car they were intended for then your car is going to sit higher and handle crappier than it would if you put the right ones on.

I put DA coilovers on my EF because my Tein dealer had insisted they were the same and would fit. They did fit but handled poorly and the rear wouldn't sit any lower than 2" above the tires. I leanred my lesson real quick.

Well if you want to know if the shocks will work YES they will. And the sleeves should fit unless they are 88 which are slightly larger and may be a problem (but not positive).

Thanks for answering my question I am not to familiar with Eg/Ej chassis

eg/ej front shock is about 1in. longer than one for an ef i believe?
