Well recently I notice my 5th Gen accord starting to get weird. My front passenger door flashes in my gauge showing that the door is opened, when in fact it is not. Sometimes the power locks go on and open all the locks on my door; kinda freaky. This could be potentially bad for my car. I was wondering has anyone ever had this problem occur?
I believe this could be a solenoid problem in the front passenger door but I was wondering if theres any other solution or quickies. Thanks

My 94 with power locks goes nuts sometime when locking the door....click,click,click,then they'll lock and stop clicking.I'm guessing it may be the relay or solenoid but it doesnt happen all the time. The flashing icon on your instrument panel is probably due to a bad door switch, they get corroded and loose and will cause problems like you describe.Try taking the switch out and cleaning the contacts and maybe spraying some WD-40 on it and replacing. This worked on my 91 Civic hatch.Good luck!
