SELLING: Short-geared JDM B-series CABLE transmissions
------I have a JDM short-geared B16 "S1" cable tranny that came from a 91 Integra XSI. ( uses a 90-93 Integra clutch disc )
------I also have a JDM short-geared B16 "YS1" cable tranny that came out of a 92 JDM Integra XSI. ( uses a 92+up Integra clutch disc, bigger spline shaft )
Both trannies are well cared for and nothing but OEM Honda MTF ( Manual Transmission Fluid ) was used and changed regulary.
The gearing of these trannys are just like the Type R and B16 hydro trannies. Your B16, B18, or B20 will accelerate your vehicle much quicker with this gearing.
Perfect for those of you running a U.S. spec "S1" or "YS1" tranny. Remember, the U.S. spec trannies are sometimes labeled the same, but are internally different compared to the JDM counterparts.
The U.S. "LS" geared cable trannies are usually labeled "A1" or "YS1", but are geared much taller than the JDM short-geared ones.
Those of you running a JDM B16, but have it coupled to your U.S. "LS" cable tranny will feel a big difference. Your B16 lacks the torque of the LS motor, so why couple them together?
Honda made a short-geared B16 cable tranny to match with the high revving, but torqueless JDM B16 engine for a reason.
I'm located in Minnesota, but can ship out if the buyer is serious.
Do a search for "Hand Command" or see the people on H-T that can vouch for me.
I have written and photo documentation and serial #'s for the JDM trannies.
Contact me directly if you are serious.
