me and my friend have been searching and searching for the past 3 hours. maybe were not putting in the right info but we need to see a picture of both JDM and USDM CRX frontends. and some pics at different angles would be nice. once again weve looked on this site and other sites, but no luck

I don't have a pic, but the JDM front has the bumper lights stretched out and curved a lil bit like the integras, and well the USDM ones the the rectangular ones

my old USDM front end:

My new car, and JDM Front end (with US corners and fenders)

major differences - Hood, Headlights, Bumper (including bumper lights). Bumper installs different and the grille is different between USDM.

minor differences are: corner lights (USDM - half clear, JDM - all clear), and fenders (sidemarker - in JDM since all clear corner light)

hope that helps.

Yep, 700 or somethinglike that.
If you have the patience, I guess you could piece together a kit, may come out cheaper in the end.
I don't think anyone said this yet, but on the USDM front end the hood pops inward, while on the JDM SIR front end the hood pops out.

Yep the hood is a major differences besides the corner lights. I got mine from Password it cost a lil to much but at the time they were out of stock. so i paid what i had too. Jdm front ends look hot and i love my rex even more now

That's the best anyone has ever put it. Well looks wise anyway. The whole swap would be easier if you had a jdm radiator support.

cant emphasize this enough, although its not really a radiator support..more like a flimsy bracket with some 10mm bolt holes

It does looke a hell of a lot easyer the doing a integ JDM front end. No cut's and welds.

two things i notice about those cars...

1) that white CRX is mine (well...was mine at the time, sold it)
2) SIR front end sucks *** for trying to mount an intercooler

CRX SIR front is good for NA cars thats why i would never do one and never did even after wrecking it...

im not sure where some of you got your information about the "special radiator support" or the "t-bar" or whatever you think is so important, but it is NOT NEEDED AT ALL!

why would you say it "makes it easier"?? it does NOT do anything!! the only difference from the SiR rad support to the USDM support is that the SiR support has a hole where the intake tubing comes u, and sucks in air behind the hood opening that the SiR hood also has the US doesnt.

once again, dont waste your time on the radiator support!! its not needed!! AT ALL!

not on the EF8, OR the EF9. period.

the only thing u have to do is "shim" the hood latch (on the hood itself) back a little bit, to make it lock in. that is the only mod, besides bending a small tab on the drivers side of the bumper bracket that you have to do.

adn the only difference from the USDM fenders, to the SiR fenders are the holes cut for the sidemarkers, hence, i feel it is a waste to swap em out! if you wnt sidemarkers, search for the measurements on ANY honda site, and just cut your own holes!

well u do need the t-bat to make it bolt in.....just to let u know there are diffrent T-bars. the jdm ef9 won't make it 100% bolt in...its almost like the usdm T-bar. u should get the ef with the sir front end....its actually a lil fatter.....
like this one.....notice no oppening for the intake...

That is the correct Tbar you have to use, from an EF3 EF4 EF6 ot EF7, if you try to use your stock one you are going to have huge problems regardless of what anyone tells you. I drilled the holes on the latch out and shimmed the stock bar out and it still wasnt enough, just get that Tbar and save yourself alot of headaches
