H22 Wiring question.
Whats up, i have really been debating on putting an H22 into my del sol, i only use the car for driving around town and drag racing, i have a boosted Y8 in it right now and im not really satisfied, and i would kinda like to try all motor and for the price of an h22 swap you cant get more bang for the buck as far as power and tourqe go... my friend put an h23 in his civic and the only problem he really had was wiring so i was wondering if anyone out there that knows exactly what needs to be done for wiring an h22 into a del sol/civic i would really appreciate it!
hard way: study wiring diagrams and figure out what goes where
easy way: buy hasport's harness conversion
there is alot of info in the hybrid forum, the first stickied post is the one you need.: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=18

Easy way is to do the wiring yourself. Everything you need is on that link the guy posted above. It took me longer to label all the sensors on both harnesses than it took to do the actual wiring. Total time is about 2 hours for wiring
EDIT: that guy didnt post the link i was talking about so here it is

for those of you that have done the swap, do you think it is worth the time and trouble of doing it? and can you post some times with mod list. i would really appreciate it.
print up all that info and hopefully you can find an obd-1 h22 run a chipped p28 or like mine i have a hondata that was tuned for a gsr
and it pulls like crazy. i'm actually in the process of getting a different hondata program for it. i suggest getting upgraded axles and good luck with your cooling system. believe me, it's worth all the headaches you go through doing your swap.
i have had the car for almost 10 months now but never took it down the track. i actually had a wet fogger with a 100 shot on it. i ran a separate fuel pump to a cell with race gas and it was unbelievable. thats why i cant wait to fully rebuild my motor and run some boost on it. the potential of the motor is unlimited. i also suggest changing the clutch before putting the motor in too. good luck!
