Hey, I understand being upset about a wrecked or stolen ITRs, but, according to the New or Used thread, most of you wouldn't have your ITR's if it wasn't for others who sold them.
I, for one, may possibly (maybe, depends, might) consider selling my R in the near future (if I don't find a new income soon), but that doesn't imply anything bad about the car. I have, to some extent, outgrown it (I have more need for a highway car, which the R is not). but that does not mean I don't still love it, or that I wouldn't want to see it go to a good home.
In any case, don't assume that just because someone considers selling their R. that that means they no longer love or respect the car, only that they wish that that wonderful object that they have loved so much be handed off to someone else who can reap similar pleasures and experiences from it. It's not like someone was just dumping it in a scrap yard... now that would be sacrilege!!!

Which is why I'm quoting you now!

Why do you care who does what with what they own?
Personally, the two that I've owned have probably been best taken care of when I've owned them. They were both purchased used and needed a heck of a lot of TLC and work.
If they go to better owners than
If the owner doesnt want the car anymore they generally will show a lack or lesser interest in taking good care of it, I'd rather have them go to a more motivated owner, but then again I dont really give a crap about what other people do.

That's OK. More for me.
I'm still learning how to drive. I don't want to change platforms before I've mastered this one.
And there's no visible sign of my "mastering" it, yet.

Boo hoo....
Times change, priorities change, etc. Its just a car.
I look back on my decision to sell and I'm sure I made the right choice, given the direction I'm heading with the 'new' car.

Preach it my friend.
I'm totally in the same boat racing D Stock here in 'Carolina. In racing there is always "more time out there" whether it be on the racetrack or autocrossing at the local level.
I'll be keeping my caR for some time to come considering the fact that the closest thing performance wise in my budget is an early S2000, but quite honestly I have no experience with RWD cars. Frankly, I've got to much invested in my '97 (alarm, stereo, hitch, race wheels, etc...) and it's still stock.
Thanks for editing the inappropriate name calling.
