K-series: Castillo's 94.9mm crankshaft

This crank was prepared in the same fashion as our 88mm and 105mm strokers by Castillo's Crankshaft Specialist. Again, Joe and Rudy modified a K24 99mm crank to the new 94.9 mm, 3.737" stroke. We opted to use a smaller rod journal diameter for this crank and went down to the 1.771" B-series size. This will reduce bearing speeds compared to the larger 1.890" K, F and H rod journal diameter on the two previous cranks. The 94.9mm crankshaft will be utilized in our 2415cc NA development motor.

higher revs my friend...
actually i think that with the less bearing speed, there is less wear and tear on the bearings. also with the 94.9mm stroke compared to the 99mm... that enables the reving to go higher...

just curious,
were the oiling holes for the rods/mains worked or did they come from the factory like that?
I forgot what the name is for the procedure, when you shape them like that.
thank you
