Question about using a 70mm tb on a lsvtec set up.
Im thinkiing about picking up a 70mm tb for my all motor lsvtec set up. I was wondering if it would be too big?.
heres my set up.
Block:
ITR pistons
Head:
stage 3 port and polished by sinister motoring
super tech flat face valves
resurfaced twiced.
skunk2 manifold
blox type b cams w. gears
basically all the bolt ons.

70mm might be a bit big for your setup. Id stick with a 66-68, heck even a 62 would be fine.

Dependiong on what the car is really varies. A 70mm will give you alot more air flow which is good. This will be noticeable on the track and not really show up as such a great gain on the dyno. But a 68 will be a great choice. I have installed several 70mm on stock LS's and noticed nice gains and fantastic throttle response.
