Anyone replace there window motors before? I don't have AC.
Both my passenger and driverside window motors need to be replaced in my 96 civic coupe, along with the shredded up gears that go along with it. And on the drivers side, I need to replace the crossbars that support the window.
Now, I took it to honda and they want 400 dollars for the labor. I have no idea what the parts are but I would rather fix them myself if I can.
Have any of you done this? Can this be done without having to send it to honda?
I need to fix these cause my windows are stuck closed for now, I have no AC, its hot outside, and the only air I get is the sunroof which is pretty much a tease. LOL

It's not that hard, just make sure you have a factory tech manual aka Helm manual from helminc.com It will show you exactly which part to remove and help you troubleshoot the issue. Also you can just remove the interior door panel and see which part you will need to replace and remove.

It's really easy to do it yourself, even without a manual. There is a really good store on ebay called HONDA PARTS HEAVEN (seller name is "honda parts unlimited"). They sell used honda parts, I think they're a wrecker cuz they have EVERYTHING. They are currently selling what you're looking for. They are trustworthy and test everything they sell. Right now they are selling the motor and regulator for your car for $45 per door here:
