I had my dc sports 4-2-1 redone today cheap because it had a dent in the bottom and i'm saving for a SMSP,ANR or the Sparks header. Well the guy redid all my piping from the 2nd flange where it joins has 2. The piping was made bigger it might be 1.5inch each I believe. Anyway my exhaust was reworked from 60mm with a gutted cat to a full 2.5inch with a 2.5inch flex and no cat.

This made bigtime power on the butt dyno...

Has anyone done this before??

 

Oh yeah my car is a ef hatch w/b16. It has skunk2 IM,Iceman CAI,DC sports header,CTR cams,50 shot and some other small goodies.

I'm hoping to put my 75 shot pill in and try for 12's anyone think its possible??

I ran a 14.4 before the CTR cams,Wet kit and this exhaust work.

Has anyone ever tried this with a 4-2-1 header. I figured I could keep the torque with the top section and get me some hp up top by redoing the bottom section bigger.

Anyone think I hurt performance header wise??

I obviously realize I gained some hp opening up the exhaust.

Honestly the butt dyno says I gained 15-20 hp it was alot more noticable then any other mod i've done except the bottle..
