How do you advance/ retard timing on a ZC motor?

Default How do you advance/ retard timing on a ZC motor?

It doesnt look like the distributer turns...

Also, what is the acutal # for the ZC motor ????? Ive red different #s in differnt books.

The distributer moves just like any other motor.

The ZC is just the ZC. Its the same thing as a D16A8 and A9 (I think that's the two numbers alhtough its been a long time).

may be you used your stock d15 distributor and you did the only one bolt thing and you can moved
you dont remember making a hole to fit the distributor

i have to check to check i think 89integra will fit and can be moved like anystock one

I atually Never took it off, it came as part of the ZC motor and I didnt touch it. I just looked at it and said "well, its not round, so it probibly doesnt rotate."

Thanks for all you info guys, Youve been a big part in saving me 1500$ over what the shop wanted to charge me for a motor replacement....
