Hype R schedule?
I'm on their website trying to decipher their schedule for 7/16 at Summit Point, I'm only interested in the road racing and their schedule makes no sense to me, what are the Thunder, Stinger and Autobahn races they're referring to? I know what the Legend cars are but thought the rest of the races would be like AI, 944 Cup and Spec Miata, thanks.
for what its worth, they are advertising the CRAP out of hyperfest around here (Cecil county and south into Baltimore). on 98 Rock they had almost an entire afternoons worth of on-the-scene live demos, ridealongs, etc at a large parkinglot somewhere in baltimore; James Evans was interviewed and i think they were riding along in one of his cars......
i have heard some of the contests on the local radio stations are giving away hyperfest tickets for winning their usual contests, too.
i am wondering how early folks will need to get there on sat to get in, get a spot, and avoid the crowds; heck, i wonder how many spectators they are expecting?
i don't remember in the past this kind of media blitz stuff going on! should be fun and make for an exciting weekend!
see yall there!

The stand being full is rather cool. Maybe someday that will help us with lower entry fees. However, with this many spectators running around I start to worry about leaving 8 wheels and tires, tools, jacks, and other crap laying out under my canopy all weekend like I normally do.

Who cares? That has to be one of the coolest feeling in the world.
I'm sure every other form of motorsports' stands are filled with die hard racers.
