Fuel Pump Question
I am attemping to replace my fuel filter. In the process, I am trying to located the electrical connections in order to disconnect them. I unscrewed the silver lid to the fuel pump, however I don't see the electrical connections as illustrated on Team Integra.
I have a '99 GSR. Are the electrical connections to the filter pump located elsewhere than older G3 Integras? There is a grey connecter under the seat but not beneath the silver lid.
Assuming I have disconnected the right connection, I attempted to start the car. I cranks but doesn't start. Did I disconnect the right connection in order for me to replace my fuel filter?

You don't need to disconnect the pump. Just relieve the pressure by opening your gas cap. Then get some rags and place under the filter and go to town. There's no need to disconnect the pump. You may get a small amount of gas when you disconnect the filter. Hell there were times I didn't get any gas. As long as the car isnt on you're ok. Don't make a simple task so difficult.
All is well. I disconnected the pump anyway. I had alittle bit of fuel trickle out from the filter at the top. That's about it. The filter was a bitch to take off though. For a minute during the process I thought I was going to crimp the fuel line. Now that I have changed it, I no longer have a lag in throttle responce.
