So as I was picking up a tow dolley to get my car out of my buddies place (just got done painting it) I happen to do a u-turn at a dead end street. Low and behold a Honda CVCC. It has round headlights in the front and looks like a 77-79 (I think that was the years).
Heres what it looked like (sorry no pics)...
White with blue pins strips. The nice aggresive hood that I guess is stock on them? 2dr. Automatic
(o well
) Interior looked mint!!!
Exterior however had some troubles, rusty. Floor panels have some holes. All over on the outside it has some rust here and there but the body is suprisingly straight. No real accidents besides front bumper looking like it met a pole at 5-10 mph.
The biggest bad thing I guess is the A-arm (might be something else) is rotted through. has something to do with steering or suspension.
I no NOTHING about CVCCs. I am looking for some information on them. Whether its WEBSITES or some input on this page.
I would do a Engine swap
even though I hear it takes some fabrication (which I don't mind doing).

^^ can I get some?
What should I offer for it? I was thinking 1-200?

I dont know if i personally would touch it. Hearing about the floor pan rust kinda makes me wanna shy away. I guess if u dont care about exterior looks (would take a lot of time to repair the rust and even if u did, it would pop up in other spots) and dont mind patching/replacing entire floor sections, and not to mention what else is wrong that you cant see, then go for it.

Yeah I am aware that floor rust does kinda bother me at the same time I am not to worried about the RUST. I am getting better at welding
I am more worried about suspension/alignment, chassis integraty (floor rust
), and the status of the motor.
Thats why I am trying to find some direct information on this. haha I keep getting more and more old school (went from 98 to a 85, soon to be 70's )
Thanks for the input.

You sound pretty stoked on the idea. The only thing left to do is buy it for dirt cheap and if it doesnt work out as planned, then all you've lost is a few hundred bucks and some time.
