My SCCA/NASA legal roll cage.
THis is my NASA honda challange H4 race car. I had another post on here about the spliter that I fabracated. that was as far as my fabracating skills went.
I took the car to Calculated Risks LLC, to have them put in a roll cage for me. The cage work is excellent, and it fits perfectly. This cage along with the rest of the cages he builds are awsome cages, and i again stress how tight the cage fits everwere.
The drives side door bar is a new design that he came up with and i really like. The bars are stronger then nascar bars, lighther, and they make for getting in and out of the car alot easier then with nascar or x door bars.

the pics above were just from the first day he had the car, the next pics are from today, due to my work i wasn't able to get by his shop every day

I like the door bars, but I don't think they're NASA legal.

this design is safe then the nascar door bars.
If you look at nascar door bars they have many bends making them week, these door bars only have one bend and its at the point of impact which makes them stronger.
and the car has been OK'd by a NASA tech
