Default header fabrication

here is what I worked on today. I have about 2hrs into this so far and about $60. Let me know what you think. I ran out of material just short of making the last runner.

This is my first attempt at building something like this. I will let everyone know what kind of power it makes over stock after its welded up and dyno tested.

looks good so far. I am no fabricator by any means, but it looks like you might have some issues filling in the gaps between some of your pipes. On the last runner, try to make it physically fit together better so welding will bea easier/cleaner.

For trying to make something like this. Something ive never done

and those gaps will dissapear with a little more time spent on the sanding belt.

Can I give you a couple tips?Don't take this wrong. But the #1 thing you never do is put 2 pieces of straight together.Thats called a scab. And a scab is a f $%# up.
Thats the first thing a header guy will see.Next he will say that they are not equal length. Also on the bottom on the outside instead of using a 90.Use two 45s.And you won't have that big gap between the inside and the outside tubes.Like that one
below.Or use a bigger radious bend like the other one. Hey just stop by and watch ME make a header .You will say"OOOH so thats how you do that".Just come by and ask for me.You do know where we are don't you?

slow down turbo (rmf)...its his first wack. im sure improvements will be made. i dont know one fabricator that ever "finishes" a personal project. i dont know much about your product, did it look like that avatar when you first made it?

Going to get some more u-bends today. Thanks for the great comments. Again.. being that this is the first thing I have ever fab'd myself, its a hit or miss thing. I am sure that once I am finished I will change things and build it better. The goal for this was just to see what I can do if I put some time and effort into it.
