Default Break lights wont go on

my break lights (all 3 of them) dont turn on when the brake is pressed. the bulbs are still good. the lights come on with parking lights, but do not get brighter when break is pressed. i've checked my fuses and was told i might need a new break light switch. any help will be appriciated.

yea i had the same problem.

check under your dash and above the brake pedal or behind sort of...there will a white sort of pushable button, that goes in when the brake pedal is pressed. Find the wires leading to this and check it for current. If its good, which happened in my case, it was just a wire that had been cut, and had to be repaired.

it wasn't broken then, it was only stuck. The piece that moves in and out got stuck in the in position, and that is why they were always on.
