Hey, does anyone have/ or heard of the Gathers 6-disc Stereo for Preludes?

I'm interested in the sound quality of it....I'd imagine since it's Gathers/Alpine it must sound pretty nice, but it's also a factory option, so I don't know

Anyone have one, or have comments on how it sounds?

 

alpine is overpriced crap.

 

actually alpine and eclipse are the top sound brands for head units in the car audio industry that stays under $500 for the unit.

i havent heard anything on the 6-disc changer bit. i have heard of extra speaker options that were not included here or there but i dont know for sure.

 

Just so you know, japanese roadios dont work very well here. they only go up to like, 93.9 or some crap. I Lived in japan for 3 years. They use AM for everything. very few FM stations, therefore, their radios have very narrow FM bands...just in case you like listening to the radio

i'd install kenwood all the way & P G components and it sounds very nice

'kay....the question wasn't about what I should install, it's about the quality of what I'm already installing

oh well... haha, then i dunno, when i bought my lude didn't come with gathers audio system..

looking at that picture, i would say that you could use the US radio and the 6-disc together. that way you dont lose FM. (i know just stating the obvious)

 

Yeah, I may just find a USDM prelude stereo to use so I don't lose the FM (wouldn't mind losing that wicked tape deck either )
