Default fidanza short shifter

anyone using one of these? If so please input on throw decrease, etc

A short shifter won't actually help you that much. Most short shifters I've seen have done nothing more than cause syncros to go out. If you're looking to shift faster, get the Omni clutch master cylinder.

i was looking at doing both the shifter and Omni's master cylinder.... I can pick up this shifter at my work for $20

I work for an automotive wholesaler, the only thing i saw was a description on their website, i ordered one in to take a look at it. If i get it i'll post pics up and details.

Well I looked at it today and I did not like it. It was supposed to be a dual bend and it looked pretty much straight and no busings were included

Short-shifters are crap, IMO. Get some shifter bushings for $12.

Thats how I feel. Especially with the concern about the syncros.

Very happy w/the Fastline shifter in combination with some famous tuner shifter bushings.

It might be one of those "you get it or you don't" things, but I'm happy with how this works on the track.

just finished getting one of these in the car 2 hrs ago. still kinda stiff. agreed with the earlier comment, it's definitely a case of function over form. but it works! the counterweighting makes for a nice feel as well. it's beefy.

Get some shifter bushings for $12.</TD></TR></TABLE>you have to try the Cz if you can find one...you wont go back. i can relate to your opinion about short shifters being crap because ive driven other cars with ss and they dont shift as smooth as oem. but the Cz...they really did their homework on it. just imagine the oem philosophy and quality with a shorter stroke
