I have a turbo LS, although the body is a GSR(theft recovery and my car was totalled). I pay 2600 a year for full coverage on a 94 GSR.

If I plan on getting a type S, how much worse do you think the insurance would be?

it depends on many variables.. for ex. your age, location, insurance company etc...

but here's a few ex. to help you out.

I have two friends that have RSX-S and they both have full coverages

2002 RSX-S pre-owned, new driver and he's only 20. insured with E-surance he pays low $300s a month. clean license

2004 RSX-S bought brand new, age 26. insured with Progressive, pays $120-150 a month, he also has clean licnese...

my suggesstion, if you're gonna keep both cars, GEICO's your best bet for insurance

I recently got a quote from them for my 04 civic and S2k for around low $300 a month. that's very low considering I'm only 20 and I have several points on my licnese..

boosting a stock 05 RSX -S going to be harder then boosting my LS I'm assuming?

11:1 compression, need a thicker head gasket at least? Are the K20 internals forged from the factory? what else do I need to know, boosting an LS motor is cake.
