d-series manifold?
well i bought a Y8 manifold that had been ported or honed out. that made the runners bigger. my question is that i have a Y7 motor in my ek. the manifold didn't come with a thorttle body i was just woundering if my Y7 thorttle fit on the Y8 and another thing is that do i have to use a Y8 thortte cable to make it work.

Yes use your y7 throttle body, but you have to swap the bronze rotor on the side of the manifold out for one off a y8 throttle body or one that is side mounted. THe y7 throttle cable will work fine.

I just did the same thing about a month ago. Along with swithing the throttle rotor you will have to plug the holes on the plenum for the y8's iacv. There is also a vac port that you will have to cap.
