ES upper Shock bushings HOW???
Hi,
I misplaced my instructions to the Shock bushings since I did the lowers a long time ago. I can't figure out if the tapers are facing or opposing. If they face, the Sleeve fits thru BOTH bushings, but the bushings dont sit well in the strut mount. If they are opposing, they fit right, but the sleve is too short to fill both bushings. I can't figure this out.
Thanks for the help!

they should be opposing, so the sleeve is too short to fill the hole. they will compress when you drop the car and put the nut for the strut rod back on.

i usually put the strut mount on the car (the part with the bushings in it), attach the lower arm to the car, and to the strut fork. then take your jack, and jack up the lower arm and strut assembly until you can get a nut on the strut rod. once your shock assembly is put back together, it should be cake.
ok, when i assemble it, the little collar that is supplied with my AGXs gets pushed up inside the lower bushings, since the sleeve is only in the upper bushing (because its too short). I'm starting to think that somethings missing here.... should I just ditch the ES bushings, or not worry about this?
