I am looking to get all stock exhaust components (header to cat) for a 00 Civic hatch with a GSR motor.

MOst of the headers I am finding are either old (94-95), or are out of 99-00 civics.

Any idea if these will bolt up to a 00 GSR motor, and whether any smog equipment will be affected? Will an Si header bolt up to a GSR cat?

I don't believe any B16 specific headers will work at all due to the deck height of the 1.8L engines. Someone may be able to confirm this. Also, the GSR and Type-R headers are different lengths for some odd reason... maybe due to the catalytic converters of each car perhaps.

 

So basically I am better off just using a stock GSR header?

correction, hard to find cheap. Most places wanna charge an arm and a leg for them. shop around.
