Default titanium retainers install Q

I've heard that you can install valve springs onto your head without removing it, is it possible to do it without removing the head for a titanium retainer installation?

um you have to remove retainers to change out your springs, so if you can remove the springs with the head on, YES you can remove the retainers.

I would suggest you remove the head, doing it without removal can end up being more work in the end, like when you go to put the keepers back while compressing the spring you may lose some and have to go hunt in the block or head, you should also used compressed air through a spark plug fitting with pistons TDC to keep the valves from dropping.
