Default HID Kits 4800K vs 6000K vs 7000K vs 8000K

Noticed a lot of you have recently purchased the 6000k and there are nothing but great comments for those lights... Howver has nayone seen the 7k or even 8k? I wonder how much brighter they are... If anyone has any 411 on these please reply. Thanks

they are not brighter, they are just a different color thats it, search and ye shall find

my bad... i just finished going went thru 15 pages of past topics covered and i saw nothing bout the new 7k n 8k so i assumed it wasn;t covered.. my bad. Thanks for the reference.

i dont know but i do think higher k is brighter, coz k =kelvin the higher k is the high temp is. more temp why ? coz higher watts. i'm not sure if it's rite but i do think thats how it is. and pls dont bitch at me if u think or not rite

that made no sense, but anyways compare 4200 to 6000, the 6000 will not be as bright

Colour temperature is only the colour of the light... Lumens on the other hand is the brightness. IMO, anything greater than 6000K is more for show because you are no longer getting white light, but more bluish and purplish lighting which destroys the purpose of visibility.

But don't forget that the human eye is more sensitive to certain colors (like green) than other.
