Im new and I just got a DA integra!
Hey everyone, this is my first post as a HT member. I'm kinda new to everything since this is my first car, but i have some general knowledge of hondas. I just bought a 1991 Integra LS hatch 5spd.....DA6???? i dont know?, and its awesome. I will have some pics taken soon. Its kind of a light silver color. Anyway so far I have added a K&N filter and I bought a short shifter kit, and i am installing a cd deck tomorrow. As far as this site goes,
-Where do I start lol?
-Whats the DA squad?
-What should I do to my car???
-can I see some pics of some DA's that people own?
-And whats the JDM model of my car i know the ef9 SiR is the 90-91 civic hatch, and i think my car is the XSi or something??? I know this is alot to ask for lol but I hope you can all help me out, thanks!

I would suggest starting with basic bolt ons..
A nice exhaust maybe like an rsr exmag since its pretty nice and quiet so the cops out there in cali dont bug the hell outta you..
a nice header, and a nice intake.. ebay piping will be fine as long as you get a nice K&N cold air intake filter
If youre looking for serious power... perhaps forced induction? Preferably a nice turbo kit, or turbo set up.
The DA squad i think is just a group of people whoown DA's.. nothing really all that sophisticared.

Good call on the K&N drop in filter
I got one and its great.
Take out the intake resonator box that is attached under the airfilter box, that will help get more airflow into the box.
First thing to get IMO should be a shorter geared tranny, the LS gears are way too long.
After that, a decent header, catback exhaust and a highflow cat and you should be fairly quick. Get a clutch if you intend to so some spirited driving, cuz its NOT fun when it goes out. While you're at it, get a lightened flywheel.
Getting a shorter geared tranny will make a bigger difference than the intake/header/exhaust/highflow cat combined (if you do the tranny, do the clutch and flywheel at the same time, it'll save you money/headaches down the line).

Damn man. you have a sick *** DA. do you know anyone who is selling a 92 or 93 front bumper thats red and for sale? if you do can you contact me somehow. im new to this site. thanks
