Default exhaust on my new dc2

hey i ve been using this site for info quite some time now but its finally time where i just need opinions instead of facts .. jus got another integra...a 94 DC2 with 118k on it and its going to be my daily driver so i m basically jus going to slam it and add some simple bolt ons with some good speakers .. i m done with almost everything but now i m stuck deciding which exhaust system to get .. i want one that looks nice and sounds deep and mean ... i dont really care if its loud or quiet .. so far my choices are the Apexi N1, the T1R, Greddy EVO2, or the HKS Hi Power .. out of those choices, which one would YOU choose and why ? thanks for the help

Im not trying to sound like an *******, but if youve really been using this site for a long time, youve had to have come across atleast a few of these exact same questions.. Its been asked TONS and TONS of times...
Personally I think Id go with the Apexi N1.. really nice sound, only problem with it, is that its loud.. But I still like it..
or RSR Ex-mag if you want something a big quieter and more sleak looking

well .. i am leaning towards the Apexi N1 right now also .. but at the same time i m wondering what kind of differences will the t1r's bigger piping and the hi power's skinnier piping will make compared to the Apexi N1 and the Evo2 which have the same piping size as most of the other companies .. the reason why is because i plan on keeping the same exhaust and the same car for a long time and if somewhere down the road i decide to beef up the engine (no force induction, jus all motor) to around 180 whp if one will make a different over the other ... not jus the piping size but also the amount of bents on the pipes and all that .... AGAIN thanks for the help and opinion

you're good to go with 2.36 piping up to 200 ponies.

i would go for the hks hi power , but i dont know if the 2.17 piping is too restrictive for your future goals or not ...

There is some debate in the FAQ fourm and that should have been where you looked first.

I like my yonaka. But my choice would be n1

I have the spoon exhaust with t1r b pipe and i love it very pricey though. I would say out of those go with hks sounds real goo and looks good too. Apexi looks huge but sounds good.

my friend has that on her EK and i have the N1 on my DC. sitting side by side, that hks exhaust seems so small compared to my N1.

I love my N1. unfortunately being so low to the ground (i have about 2 inches of clearance from the lowest part of the muffler) has beat my exhaust to ****. if you're planning on slamming it, i'd look for something with some more ground clearance. as for my next exhaust, i'm considering trying out with one of the new greddy evott's for my boosted applicaition.

i give a big to texas roads.

i just ordered the t1r axleback because i have the apexi b pipe already....only way to get the t1r is if you purchase the catback system. The N1 and the HKS are pretty nice exhaust.

go here and maybe it'll help you decide

get the apexi n1, its sounds and performs good. i got an apexi n1 right now with i/h/e and a stock cat and its pretty quiet. you can barely hear it when your on the beltway. if it gets too loud you could always get a silensor and slap it on.

Default exhaust

i have heard that the n1 is good by people that have but when a friend of mine went to buy one he was told the espelir was a good choice and a little more durable...it sounds nice and looks like the n1 but i doubt the n1 is poor quality i think the guy just meant the espelir was a little more durable...nothing against the n1 just something you might want to look into

i got a Magnaflow Catback and I'm really pleased with how it sounds....its quieter than most exhausts but past 4000rpms it's loud enough to turn heads. One of our site sponsers has a sale, $350 shipped right now...i wish i had seen that before i ordered it, i paid $400 and you'll pay at least that much for most of the exhausts people are mentioning here.
