Default Alarm bailed on me

So heres what happened..
I was mounting my head unit, and just finished up connecting the wires. I get out of the car, and press the button on the key chain and find that my alarm doesnt work. I thought that it would be grounded since i was just working with my audio, but i stepped back in my car and found that the car still starts, and the radio still works. All electrical parts of my car works except the alarm. My corners usually flash when my doors are open, but didnt flash this time. The alarm was just working fine before i got started working on the audio. Can someone give me any ideas to what happened? This sucks big time.

this kinda happened to me..but this is when my ex had rewired my headlights..your alarm brain should have fuses so you may have blew out a fuse in the brain alarm..so check that..the brain alarm should either be under the stering wheel area to the left hand side or behind the glove compartment..so yeah..it could be that..just check your fuses
