Anyone ever partcipated or familiar with it?

I was asked to be a guest and race.
I'm curious what to expect.

 

Someone in an IT class I took a few semesters ago went to it, and told me it is pretty much something geared towards non-racing enthusiasts, but that he got to "go 140 in an Indy Car."

He figured I raced because I had on my Simpson shoes that day (not driving shoes, who do I look like, Frank?) and asked me if I raced.
