Well, I never exactly smelled "burnt" coolant before. I am just assuming that it is burnt coolant because this smell didnt arise until after I was doing the coolant bypass, which at the time I had spilled great amounts of coolant around the hoses and the bottom of the engine block in trying to figure out where to loop what, as the h22 faqs are a little different then the h23's.
Anyhow, I had a idle fluxuation so I attemped to let the air out through the bleed bolt and overfilling my radiator etc etc. All this must have been around a week ago though. I haven't been driving every singly day since then, maybe just a few days, but wouldnt all the spilled coolant have burned off?
I know I don't have a leak, as I don't observe any when I leave the garage or look in the engine bay.
