Passenger side Headlight removal???
I wanted to remove my passenger side headlight assembly. Just the "HIGH BEAM" side that is. Reason being is that I wanted to RAM air into my SRI while racing. Sort of like a CAI using the SRI. Anyone know how to remove this assembly? I have tried searching though no luck on any article. Any help would be great?
I did the same thing when I dragged my old crx. I had no clue how to do it, but I brought the trusty tool box out and figured it out!! Shouldn't be too hard or take too long even if you have noobie experience like I did when I first started!
You should only need a ratchet, extender (maybe), and a 12mm or 10mm or both. Good luck and happy wrenching!

if you are jsut wanting to remove the high beam part..you cant...its all one piece...I know there are companies that make the headlight as jsut the regular headlight and the high beam is gone and in its place is like a funnel to draw the air in.....or....you can remove the whole thing cut it in half and put it back and there you go!!

its actually pretty easy......you will have to take apart the headlight though. to take apart the headlight:
1. Remove the headlight from the car by unscrewing the 4 bolts ( 2 on top, and 2 on bottom).
2. put the headlight in the oven at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the sealing arond the headlight housing and plastic part is soft.
3. Pry the headlight housing apart from the plastic part with a butter knife.
4. Drill out the contents of the high beam part.
5. When you are done with this step......put the 2 headlight pieces back in the oven for another 10 minutes, until the sealant is soft again...stick the headlight and plastic back together and you are all set !
